Solo, the energy-efficient heater best serves as an affordable alternative or accessory to a central heating system in a small- to medium- sized room. The quiet heater disrupts little while it radiates warmth into the room.
DeLonghi crafted the heater with two ceramic heating elements for dual-directional heat flow. Using PTC technology, the heater discourages overheating by regulating temperatures and holding steady. The heater activates by pressing a foot switch, further enhancing the user's physical comfort. Three power settings allow flexibility for diverse rooms and personal heating needs. For ultimate energy efficiency, the heater runs low at 600 watts or medium at 900 watts to slowly spread warmth. On high at 1500 watts, the heater brings full heat to the room with extra speed. Users fine-tune the room's temperature for comfort with an adjustable thermostat. An antifreeze function engages should the indoor temperature fall below 44 degrees F, while the heater automatically shuts off upon knock-over. The ceramic heater can also be used without heat as a fan for air circulation and cooling in the summertime. Users can swivel the heater on its base to direct air towards places most in need. Fresh Zone air filtration keeps dust and debris from collecting, reducing fire risks while expanding the unit's life. Though the heater may give off an unpleasant aroma initially, such odors are harmless and cease after initial use.
